Construction utilitiesthe systems outside the building line

Construction utilities are the buried networks and structures that make a site work before and after vertical construction—storm, sanitary, water, fire protection feeds, and the grading that supports them.

Reliable underground infrastructure delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Why teams choose STC

Built for field outcomes—not promises

Site systems, not interiors
We focus on exterior installation: trenches, structures, services, and testing to the point of responsibility shown on civil sheets.
Rainfall reality
Houston rainfall drives real hydraulic risk. Drainage is not decorative—it protects your slab, paving, and downstream neighbors.
Code and AHJ alignment
We work with your engineer and AHJ to meet local amendments, cover requirements, and inspection order.
Ready for GC handoff
Clear redlines and test records make turnover to facilities and owners far less painful.

When to bring STC in

Early is better. Utility routing, structure locations, and conflicts with foundations or landscape are cheapest to fix on PDF, not after the trench is open.

If you are an owner unfamiliar with split scopes, ask your GC where exterior water/sewer/storm/fire stop and interior MEP begins—we operate on the exterior side for commercial work.
